Le Maître reflects the precision and power of Masters champion Fred Couples who, along with architects Gene Bates, Graham Cooke and Darrel Huxham, designed 18 superb holes along the Riviere du Diable (Devil's River) in Quebec's spectacular Mont Tremblant region.
Ranked 35th in Canada and No. 2 in Quebec by SCOREGolf in 2010, Le Maître's 260 acres of forest, shoreline, and sweeping vistas provide a stunning setting for golf, and much more. Along with its superb 18 holes, the facility boasts a top-notch practice facility, tennis courts, swimming pool and an elegant clubhouse.
Le Maitre, which in French means "The Master," is owned and operated by ClubLink (the largest developer of golf clubs in Canada). The views on the course of the Laurentian Mountains are spectacular, especially on the nine elevated tees, and water comes into play on 11 holes. You might hear an occasional moose call, if you don't actually see Bullwinkle himself, in addition to elk, bear, foxes, whitetail deer and other wildlife.
