Champion Course

fitting seamlessly into the natural desert terrain

Rivaling its famous sister course in both beauty and playability, the brilliantly crafted Randy Heckenkemper designed Champions Course offers the consummate desert golf experience. Featuring 7,115 yards of undulating Bermuda fairways, pristine greens and challenging bunkers, the par-71course meanders over natural ravines and picturesque foothills, with five par-3’s and a diverse variety of par-4’s and par-5’s to thrill golfers of all skill levels. A quartet of dramatic finishing holes make this golf gem a “must play” at prices commensurate with municipal golf facilities, including being able to walk the course.

“This is not your typical resort course,” said Heckenkemper of the Champions Course. “Consistent with the quality of the PGA TOUR brand, our vision was to provide public golfers with a TOUR-caliber course that balances strategy with design, so as not to favor any one type of player. Golfers must execute a variety of shots throughout the course, and each hole can be played a multitude of ways – providing golfers of all skill levels with a challenging golf experience that can be significantly different each time they play, depending on how much risk/reward they choose to undertake.” The Champions Course includes a beautiful new modern clubhouse featuring expanded banquet and catering capabilities and a large outdoor patio that will serve as the ideal locale for tournament receptions, business gatherings and other special events.
