This is the 6th year in a row Auberge Godefroy is awarded a "Carte d'Or". A toast to the inn that continues to maintain one of the finest menus and wine lists in the province.
Originating from Normandy, Jean Godefroy arrived in New France in 1626. He was first known as a fur trader living in the woods with the indians and as an interpreter under Champlain. After becoming a landlord, he settled in the Three Rivers area in about 1636 and saw to land clearing for cultivation and development of the region.
